You are exactly correct Mike! A Vehicle with only 220hp off the bottle is lucky to break into the 15's!
BUT, The dyno results on my engine (engine dyno and NOT a chassis dyno) were 772.34 hp @ 7223rpm, 689 ft/lbs torque @ 7202rpm.
Nitrous oxide test was the following:
1204.43hp @ 8175rpm, 979.6 ft/lbs torque.

That is a very good question! The car was timed in the 1/4 mile under some rather "flakey" conditions. An open strech of road, with a few buddies, and a stopwatch. NHRA prohibited me from running it at the local track because it lacked a parachute and a roll-cage. Oh, well...

I am MOST inpressed, Mike! 320hp from a 2.2l engine is quite a feat! The last time that I attended the "import nationals" at the Texas Motorplex, I was fascinated at the technology that I witness in the "pits".. If you've never attended the meet, you GOTTA! It's baaaad-ass, even for an 'ol v-8 lover like me!

I'm not sure! I've been a mechanic since the early 70's, built a TON of specialty vehicles for myself and customers,
and attempted to break the "Big Red Gottleb's" world record for the "street-legal land speed attempt" with my ugly 'ol Camaro a few years ago.. Naaaahhh, I have NO idea what I'm talking about.. ;-)
