Hi, Jennifer;
If you are still following this thread here are several things that I developed after nearly failing public school. I did make it to college and graduated with good grades.

Reading- library books on reading improvement such as speed reading may help your daughter.
Reading headlines and large type upside down helps to learn letter groups.
To practice reading right side up with you try taking a comic book or magazine and take turns reading aloud the advertisements and short text in the comic books.
For spelling and key class lessons- color learning. Take color pens and write out spelling words. Change pen color for each syllable. Have her write out the words in color herself to help her physical memory. Hand writing with the color pens is important. Using the computer in the beginning will defeat its purpose.
There is more, but I would have to write a very long message.
You may write to me at desertrosewood@gmail.com if you like or you may want to visit my blog: ImDyslexicYoureDyslexic.blogspot.com
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Richard McDoanld
