Ken stood in the middle of the room, his hands behind his back, his legs about shoulder width apart. He looked out across the Hudson River, watching some of his men dispose of a body. A smile crossed his face as he watched Jimmy fire an extra shot into the already dead man's head, just to make sure. His office door suddenly swung open, a man wearing a red suit and black tie running in.
"I tried to stop him, Don O'Riley! He just burst in!" said the busty secretary. That had to of been the reason Ken hired her.
"Don't worry about it, Marie..." Ken said as he raised his right hand slightly, telling the secretary to leave. "You may go..." Marie slowly walked out as the man tried to catch his breath.
"Don *huff* O'Riley...I'm Sorry...*huff*..." the man said. Ken never turned around to look at him.
"It's all right, Joey...is she dead?" Ken said as he watched Jimmy's boat come back to harbor.
"...That's what I'm sorry about, Sir..." Joey said, his eyes becoming filled with shame. Ken slowly shook his head as Joey leaned against a nearby chair, his back turned to Ken.
"This...dipleases...me, Joey." Ken said as Joey wiped his forehea with his hankerchief. "You know full well that I sent you out to kill Don Maldonaldo's wife...and you failed me..." Ken slowly reached his right hand out towards his desk.
"Don O'Riley...you should know that we were ambushed...Don Maldonaldo had men waiting...we never saw it coming!" Joey said as he put the hankerchief back into his breast pocket.
"Joey...what you need to learn in this game..." Ken slowly pulled a red handled katana out of it's sheath, the metallic sound of it exiting causing Joey's hair to stand on the back of his neck. He didn't dare turn to face Ken, in fear that doing so would only make his imminent death that much more painful...
"Is to expect...the un...expected..." Ken said, slowly raising the sword with his right hand, looking at the blade.
"Oh god..." Joey softly said, tears welling up in his eyes...
"He has nothing to do with it..."
SNIKT!!!
"Ms. Price?"
"Yes Don O'Riley?"
"When Jimmy comes in, tell him he's got another body to dispose of."
"Yes sir."
