The music rang loud through the thick mansion walls, the tenants laughing heartily as the youngest one, little Maria Maldonaldo, was lifted onto the shoulders of her father and uncle. A banner hung over a big door reading "Happy 6th Birthday Maria!" Everyone else is clapping, drinking punch, having a great time.
Except for outside, where Ken O'Riley lurks in his black Rolls Royce. His eyes are dark, heavy black bags under them. He looks like he hasn't slept for days. He sits in the back, staring directly at the house, watching Don Maldonaldo hold up his daughter. A man sits in the driver seat, cleaning his gun, the rest of the O'Riley gang waits outside the car, smoking their ciggarets and cleaning their guns.
"Boss? You ready?" The Driver says, looking into the rear view mirror.
"....Yes....tell them to move in" Ken said softly, picking up his Desert Eagle. He then looked at it and stared...
------------MEANWHILE!!-----------------
"I'm worried about your brother, Spizer" Master Fei said as he poured Spizer a cup of tea.
"I am as well, Master..." Spizer said, picking up the small cup. "I'm worried about what he said to me earlier today..."
"Oh?" Master Fei said, raising a brow as he poured himself some tea.
"He said...He said 'Tonight's her birthday, but I get the gift...'...Do you have any idea what that may mean, Master?" Spizer asked, putting down his tea. The old man sighed softly and nodded.
"I'm afraid, Spizer...that I do..." Master Fei said as he picked up the newspaper beside him and handed it to Spizer. The headline read.
"CASINO TYCOON'S DAUGHTER TURNS SIX-Maldonaldo to throw huge party in her honor"
Spizer's eyes went wide as he read aloud.
"'Micheal Maldonaldo, the city of Red Bank's leading businessman and proprieter of the most successful casino's in Atlantic City, has another reason to celebrate: his daughter, Maria, is turning six. Maria, a prodigy on the piano, cello and violin, is turning six. This birthday is made even more special due to the fact that Maria is now old enough to join the New Jersey Youth Symphony, which will only bring her more success since the symphony is the most prestigous in the United States'...He wouldn't...Ken wouldn't sink that low..." Spizer said as he threw down the newspaper.
"Let us hope not, my son..." Master Fei said softly.
---------ELSEWHERE!!!!------------------
Ken stood over the don's wife, Sasha, pulling his sword out of her back. His eyes were locked on the don, who was bleeding profusely from his neck. Maria hovered over him, crying. Ken's men walked around the room, shooting all the bodies to make sure they were dead, but Ken didn't care about that right now...he was busy with his rival. Maria looked up from her father as Ken moved in slowly, her tears staining her blush, a treat from her mother for the special day.
"Please, mister...leave my daddy alone!" She cried.
"Your father...is an evil man...he has caused the bloodshed of all those that I loved...I am just getting the revenge that I deserve...now...move aside..." Ken said, his eyes locked on the don's.
"NO! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She cried again.
"I'll count to three..." Ken said softly, "One...."
she didn't move, her sobbing growing louder...
"Two..."
she didn't move...her crying growing louder still...
"Three..."
SNIKT!
The crying stopped
-----------SOMEWHERE ELSE!!-------------
"C'mon, c'mon!" Spizer said as he listened to the phone ring..."Pick up, Bel..."
