8: Full skill system, no levels
That's right. Like UO, this game is 100% skill based. There are no levels whatsoever.
Instead of the 700 skillpoint limit (7xGM) of UO, the system here is a bit different. It runs entirely on decay. When you reach the so-called soft-cap, decay will be faster, and at some point you will have trouble keeping up all your skills. That should in theory make for a natural barrier somewhere.
How this works in r/l is to be seen.

9: Relatively small difference in character powers
Characters will be fairly within range power-wise. Unlike WoW, where 10.000 level1 characters would never be able to kill a single max-level, here the power difference isn't that big.
It is being said, that 3 players, that know what they do on newb characters, will be able to take down a veteran.
Personally I don't believe this. I believe that 3 medium-skilled chars will be able to do it. 6-7 newbs would be a serious threat to a single player, however.
That means, that a bunch of newbs in a newbie area can gang up on anyone trying to PK them. They can "take out the trash" themselves, without relying on "high-levels" to come help them. How they fare against a whole gang of PKs is another story :)

10: UO feeling
You will get a strong feeling of UO. The entire system is heavily inspired by it, and you will feel right at home, seeing how the skills improve on the screen, as you play.
