Becca was sitting just at the forests edge,at her favorite place upon that boulder, when she saw Gaston slowly approaching, a wry smile over her lips, she thought the old devil, but as he neared and she could make out the expression on his face, her smile wavered, and after reading several messages that were penned to her, her smile all but disappeared. Gaston handed Becca, two missives, one was a note from Cricket, though she did not know it at the time, and the other was a rather ominus looking scroll, that was sealed with blood red wax, the imprint in the wax was a crest of sorts, she could just make out but a few minute details upon it, mysterious indeed. "Gaston?" She held up the scroll of parchment paper in her hand. "Where did this come from?" Gaston weary and with little emotion stated. "It was left at the door Miss Rebecca, I know not from whom, or where it came from, but it is clearly marked for you." He pointed to her name scrolled across the dark parchment. And before reading any of it, she said. "Gaston, please tell Cricket I'll be up to the house when I'm done reading." He shook his head softly. "Mistress Cricket is not at the house Miss Rebecca." He said with sorrow. Becca arched a brow at how he spoke. "Oh. Well never mind then I'll see her later tonight." She smiled one of her most charming smiles to him, that had little or no effect. He turned and walked off. She stared at his back for a long moment, holding her missives. She then looked down to her hands. She opened the note first, she smiled at first seeing it was indeed from Cricket. Her smile instantly faded as she read. Her eyes welled with tears, and they fell easily from her. Her family was coming apart at the seams, and it made her heart ache terribly. But, however a small smile soon came to her lips. And she spoke aloud to herself. "Those two will kiss and make up as always." And that seemed to satisfy her, for now. She then held the scroll in her hand. If she didn't read it, then whatever it contained could not touch her. She sensed, nae, she knew that what ever was in it, was something to be wary of. She sat for a long while, just staring at it,before she decided not to open it. If she did not know? Then it would not upset her. She stood and made her way into the forest, clutching the scroll, after several minutes, she came to a place she had found on her many outings out there,a clearing with a small murky area that held a scum covered pond, not very large at all, but it was exactly what she was looking for. She pulled the purple satin ribbon she wore round her throat as a choker, and then gazed about. Finding a suitable rock, she used the ribbon to secure the scroll to it, and with a heafty toss, the scroll, ribbon and rock, made little splash as it hit center, and she watched it vanish beneath the murky surface, a satisfied wipe of her hands together and she slowly made her way back out of the forest. She came upon the place where she had been sitting when Gaston had brought the messages to her, and her face turned ghostly white, her heart seemed to skip several beats before starting again, as her eyes fell upon the very scroll she just tossed in the pond. Dry as a bone, with a dripping wet purple ribbon sitting next to it, in a small pile. Eyes scanned the area instantly looking for the culprit, but no one was about, nor did she honestly expect there to be anyone. She left the ribbon, and lifted the scroll, turning it round and round in her hand. She sat down heavy on a boulder jutting up from the earth that had a smooth surface. She steadied her nerves and with a sharp fingernail, she broke the seal on the scroll, her eyes shut tightly, what she expected to happen, no one could say, but as it did seem to be following her about, she was nervous. Nothing happened, and slowly one eye opened followed by the other, she unrolled the parchment, and stared at a blank page. She laughed. "What in the name of..." But her voice fell silent as letters, words and sentences began to appear on the parchment before her very eyes. Long curling scrolling letters rose up on the parchment. She was dumbfounded. Then she read.~"There is much you need to know. I will send a carraige for you on the morrow. You will come. There is no other choice. If you do not board the carraige, you will know my wrath. Take heed girl, you do not wish to anger me." It was signed. ~Mythios~ She shivered as she read, eyes unblinking. She knew she would not like to know his anger, and knew she would board that coach. As she looked down at the paper, the writing seemed to swirl, and upon it now, crawled several dozen black spiders. She screamed and dropped the parchment, stumbling as she hastily crawled from it. Eyes wide in terror, heart pounding in her ears. Then the paper and spiders erupted in a brilliant blue flame. It was gone. Not even an ash remained to be found anywhere. Her whole body trembled. Fear in her yes, but something anew took root. Anger. An emotion she knew little about. Infact, she honestly cant ever recall feeling angry at anyone, for any reason at anytime. That in itself puzzled her brain, for she never realized it before, but it was infact true. Never had she felt anger. So many pieces of the puzzle that was her life were now fitting together and slowly a picture was taking shape. She walked back to the house, knowing she would pack. Now that she had clothes of her own. She also knew she would have to tell the others she would be leaving. For how long? She was uncertain. But she knew she would go. She dreaded the fact that she must leave Nessa, especially now that Cricket had left. But it must be done, that she knew.
