Subject: Test

The screen is black. A voice can be heard, that of a man's voice.

Cameraman: This is insane.

A woman's voice replies to him.

Woman: Hey, I think it's a great idea. Are we ready to go?

Cameraman: Uh....yeah. Whenever you want to start. Want me to count you in?

Woman: Sure.

Camerman: And we're going to live feed in five....four....three....

The screen sputters and crackles with static, and then the image of Pantera's face in a mid-shot (chest up and close to the face) appears. She's holding a microphone, marked with the RAWTV label haphazardly stuck over what appears to be a WCW logo.

Pantera: Welcome to RAWTV. I'm your host, Pantera, and this is my blatantly obvious shoot promo trashing Kill-ah Instinkt.

The shot cuts to a very Entertainment Tonight opening montage, complete with CGI RAWTV logo and overdone music. A voice-over in a deep male voice intones:

This is RAWTV, on the twelfth day of August, two-thousand and one.

The shot dissolves back to Pantera, now with her hair pinned back and wearing a sensible-looking pair of glasses, and wearing what appears to be a Right To Censor-style short-sleeved white shirt. Her name is highlighted as Cleo Pantera. She clears her throat and speaks.

Pantera: Good evening and welcome to this live broadcast from the RAW Arena. Our top story:

Voice-over (hers): Well-known hamburger manufacturer and steak abuser, Kill-ah Instinkt



Voice-over:...claims that Pantera, Queen of Raw and avid vegetarian, cannot take his title. We asked Pantera for her response.

The screen cuts back to Pantera, clearly holding her glasses in one hand and having unbuttoned her shirt and loosened her hair.

Pantera: Well, see, he's clearly got it wrong. I don't actually want his Universal Title. I want to take it. Take it so he can't see what it is that he's busted his ass and head for for so long in this business and remind himself of the fact that he's so over the hill that you'd need to send out a search party just to find the remnants of his reputation. I want him to wear his belt all the time, wondering when I or someone from Silent RAGE she flips the microphone around to reveal a Silent RAGE logo stuck on the microphone steals his belt and pisses him off again. Kill-ah.....I owe you PAIN. This ends when I say it ends. This ends when you scream in pain

The camera goes to a tight shot of her face. Her eyes are hard, lacking any compassion, any trace of humour.

Pantera: This ends when I find my killer instinct and you see it in my face. It ends when I have my boot on your throat and you look up and me and as you pass out, you'll see my face. It ends when you see me in your dreams, and you can never EVER forget that I was the one person who beat you.

The camera hovers on her face for a long moment. Then the camera pulls back to the mid-shot, and her whole expression goes back to the Wild Child, Queen of Raw. She extends her arms and looks around her.

Pantera: Let's give everyone a look at the arena for tomorrow night, okay?

The shot cuts to what appears to be a distance shot on another camera. Pantera and the other cameraman are sitting up. WAY up. In fact, they're sitting on top of a cage in the backstage area, some fifteen to twenty feet in the air. The cameraman is in a rapelling rig and Pantera....well, Pantera is just sitting there. The shot changes, and Pantera in mid-shot can be seen again. She's grinning past the camera.

Pantera: Hey, wave for the people, Dan.

Dan: No -bleeeeep-ing way.

There's a laughing from Pantera and she leans back with one arm to support herself.

Pantera: Now, I know what you're all wondering. What's a girl like me doing on a cage like this? Well, let me tell you.

She stands up, slowly...and starts moving along the top bar in a practised yet careful way.

Pantera: I wanted Kill-ah to see where it was I'm going to be during Bloodzone. I like being up here, you know. She stops and looks down into the ring, and then smiles evilly. You want to run my face through the cage, I'm down with that. You can have the cage, Kill-ah. I claim this spot. You can see how high up we are. Do the math, Kill-ah Man.

AND

SHE

JUMPS.

Dan: Holy sh!t.....

His camera quickly pans down into the ring. Pantera lays there for a long, long moment....and then she sits up, Undertaker-style, and makes a waving motion to outside the ring. The floor underneath her rises a good three to four feet......a proper size stunt pad straining the corners of the ring canvas. She waves again and the ring settles back to it's normal state. She looks across and picks up her microphone, which rattles with sound.

Pantera: Well, I'm prepared for the next level, Kill-ah. You don't get a crash pad. Need to prepare much?

She stands up and walks over to the cage door and walks out, dropping the mike as she goes. The camera pans back up to the top of the cage and looks into darkness.

Dan: Uhm....hello? Can someone get me down now?

Dan: Anyone?

Fade to black......
