Subject: Moral of the story

I woke up this morning only to find that my son must have been up at least 20 minutes before I got up...keep in mind this was 6 AM! lol yes he got up at 5:30 am. Anyway, I get up and out of bed to go into the family room only to find him in the floor with my purse. He had taken my lipstick out written all over everything, himself and the floor. He then found my address book and ripped out every single page and ugh it was everywhere lol. Then, he found in my purse a stack of letters that I had rubber-banded together to mail out for my Creative Memories' party in 2 weeks, lol, my god I had spent all afternoon printing these out from my computer on some pretty expensive card stock, lmao only to find it all over the floor with lipstick on it. Every single one of them opened up! Did I mention my lipstick I buy comes from Dillard's and costs about $29.00 per tube?? He then took my keys off somewhere and I have yet this morning to find them.
Moral of the story:
Some things on this board, my email and in chat have bothered me to the point of having me in tears, but this morning set that all into perspective. This was something REAL that happened and I could fix with a little soap and water (and Goo Gone lol). I can fix what happened on here and in chat as well by either not reading it or deleting it or putting it on ignore. LMAO too bad the ignore feature doesn't work on my children at times like that...ok back to cleaning and then on to the park to let them work out some of that energy! Y'all have a GREAT day!
