The trio stands within the wake of the forest in silence each gathering memories from the serenity of this land. It was so different from their former home, only one of the group had ever felt the comfort of this land before. Te eldest, a black bay arabian ironically enough dubbed with a spanish name, an oprhan at one point taken in by the welcoming arms of the herd, as their princess once then their queen. It was different now, she grew, understood, and devoped, no longer the foolhardy young mare she once was. Wisedom glittered in vivid eyes, warm and choclate liek the color of her velvet coat. A boggling contrast to that or her near ivory daughter, classified as the minimal shade of grey she shone like a single diamond lost upon the emerald earth in the pale rays fo the sunlight, her eyes too, much different from thosesoft and jubialnt of her dam. An enigma disguised in choclate with flecks of light dancing softly within them, the only trrace of her young age. They were intellegent, sharp, and critical. She was a politician since birthday one. Playing the enchanting diplomat of her former home while others romped around. Oddly enough it was she, the oddball out filly who survived the final battle. Well she and the jet black stallion, onyl a year elder than she, that stood no more than a yard away. SStriking handsome the only evidence of his hard battles a few scar, he hadn't lost much. Born into a high social stuts he was the striking comparison to the ivory grey filly he'd gaurded with his life so many times. He, unlike her thouugh, had ran with the herd for a long time, enjoying a few fruitful years of foalhood, always attempting to presuade the formerprincess to drop her duties and join them in a ruless game of tag, neverless to fail over and over. Then he too came to rank, leaving behind what he'd known for the battlefield, a prized soldier, son of the queens high general. A rogue with time. All were now, except the elder mare dubbed esperanza, she alone belonged in these fairy tale lands. Atleast in the eyes of the two younger, discared by famine, disease, and warefar from their birthplace. It was all in the past now...wasn't it?
