Subject: Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens’

Hi,

My name is kev and I am writing on behalf of a Hatfield-based theatre company - ‘Act 2 Productions’. Later this month (19th-22nd May to be precise) we will be staging a production of the high-energy musical ‘Saucy Jack and the
Space Vixens’.

In case you are not aware of the show, it has been described as a mixture of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’, ‘Barbarella’ and ‘Charlie’s Angels’. Devised in
Edinburgh in 1995 it has enjoyed great success at a variety of locations. It is camp, outrageous, loud and preaches that we must embrace life and celebrate diversity.

Like ‘The Rocky Horror Show’, ‘Saucy Jack’ has spawned something of a cult following with audience interaction being commonplace, and fans turning up night after night in home-made PVC and bubble-wrap costumes. In fact, many
Rocky Horror fans are also big fans of ‘Saucy Jack’ - the atmosphere of the show and message behind it are so similar as to appeal to the same crowd.
