Subject: Laying in Wait

At the far end of the Docking Bay, a black panther lay curled up in a corner. It�s slender, powerful body lay almost perfectly still, and upon first glance, it would seem to be either dead or sleeping. One more look at its open eyes, however, showed it�s curt awareness of everything that was going on around it. Every passerby was closely examined within a matter of second by his precise gaze.

Spectre missed absolutely nothing. Given what Waspinator had told him in the Bar, he wasn�t about to let any suspicious characters get past him and into the Star Base. Veridian and his minions would no doubt show up on Rugby eventually, since the base harbored many Autobots and Decepticons.

The Councilor laid in wait for any Vehicon to board the station. He waited still for a response from Rugby�s commander. He had a right to know what could potentially happen on his station. Spectre had every intention of alerting the station to a possible threat.

So he stayed. Waiting. Watching. Ever wary, ever cautious.
