[.x.] a merry boy, dressed well-at least for a streat rat, in sky blue trousers and a white linon shirt; collared even-sat on the fountain's ledge, swinging dangling legs. he picked up a tune on a flute, taking the instrument from his lips to sing, [.x.]

"lady o' the shire,
spirit o' the fire,
fleeing in dire,
lyer, lyer."

[.x.] he stopped, not shaking his head, but he knew his poetry was, frankly, usually a bit...rough. that had been one of his more delicate tunes though, and whats more, it had been off the top of his head. he watched her moving towards the inn, before picking up another tune, and singing, hoping to get her attention for a chat. [x.]

"lady snake, lady snake,
clad in green, face nake[d],
weaver, spinner, story mate,
fake, fake."

[.x.] sliding off the fountain he waited. though the song had ben mere words, fiction not fake, she looked like shire folk; he'd been there long ago. [.x.]

[occ-yeah, i suck at poems...erm...he doesn't know stuff about you, or really belive it, though he knows pretty faces make rotton hearts (most often). just rhymed. yeah. anyways.]
