.x] the boy neatly leaped out of the way (meanwhile, sabe shreaded the cloak). however, his heart wasn't in the fight an he didn't strike back-a passerby might have sworn he rolled his eyes in a "get-this-over-with" way. now that he'd seen the ring, he didn't feel like a quarrle, but wanted to get a clear grip on things. he sighed, sidestepping and eying the old woman warily-today was not his day. [x]
