.x] the boy's sharp ears caught the sound of the ring hitting the coblestones and he turned to look. briar's head then swivled upward, but Lily had already left (not that he knew it had been her). he released the shards, though some chips remained embedded, and then he pocketed the ring with the other hand. biting his lip, he fought a short mind struggle-if it was Lily's and he kept it...however, he decided if this was what made her happy, then he'd damn well see it through, even if it broke him in the process. not sure where to go, a sudden idea struck him; he could [possibly] take it to the Father (church guy). Briar didn't make it his practice to be religious, but the priest would have to follow a code of honesty and return it. he didn't admit that it was also a way to avoid finding out exactly who the owner was. [x]

[occ-thanks; i worked on it during math class (wrote it on paper). new board? what? can I have the URL? and any new board URLs? is there a new kavanagh? -is very puzzled- also, i'm assuming after this post he's left the sqaure.]
