**he flops down watching the pups his eyes travel around, then sniffing the air he stands up and walks off howling to his family he will return. he lopes into the distance sniffing the air every few meters. Left, right, right left he travels then lays to the ground army crawling close to a bush he watches a family of foxes. A female, male, and 3 pups. he is facing the wind so his scent is unnoticed. then he edges closer and closer, then with a sudden bolt he rips into the female. Killing her almost on contact, then threatens the others. he knows they may surrvie becuase the pups are on full meat. he will return to finish his competition. he knows that foxes are a threat to his pups. he leaves carring the lifeless body to the pups to eat.....

Coming back to the pack he walks close to the playing pups, he lays down the kill and waits to see who has the most intrest. For this will tell him much about the pups that is unable to sniffed out.
