Mark Fontana has put a great deal of Pianocorder documentation on CD-ROM, including schematics. Check out his latest post to this forum and visit his Pianocorder web site regarding availability.

Several things go wrong with the power supply which are not well-documented, however. Use of a too-small extension cord can take out the 5-volt supply's bridge rectifier, for example; the varistor in the 170-volt supply for the solenoids can fail, resulting in a blown 10-amp fuse and/or lots of arcing and spitting at the power switch.
