On mine, the interlock switch wasn't being engaged until I pressed up slightly on the cover panel that the switch contacts. Now that the switch is engaged, the system turns on and I get both red lights, they remain solidly on all the time. The tape deck appears to be working just fine -- play key remains depressed, the read head moves to engage the tape, and the player seems to run at a consistent speed. I've tried a few different tapes and none of them work. It does not appear that the mechanics are attempting to work at all. We inherited this piano from a grandparent, and I have no idea when it stopped working or any associated events related to it not working. Any ideas? Thanks, ~dk [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
