The circuit board traces on top of the board (the component side) generally terminate at a resistor or diode whose leads also go through the board. Using 26 guage solid insulated hookup wire, put a new jumper between the IC pin and the terminus of the trace to make a brand new connection. Put those jumpers on the bottom side of the board.
