I suggest downloading the MP3 versions of the test/alignment cassette from the link on the main page at http://www.pianocorder.info. Load the MP3 files into an MP3 player, plug one of those cassette adapters into the headphone jack, turn the volume way up, put the cassette adapter into the cassette deck of the Pianocorder, and press PLAY. If the Pianocorder circuitry is working properly, the POWER light will remain lit, the "FINE TUNING" light will initially be on but turn off when you start a test track playing on the MP3 player, and the various tracks will allow you to test the note and pedal solenoids.
