Oni reached the entrance of the Command Center; the two guards at the opening drew their weapons in a fluid, natural motion.

�HOLD IT RIGHT THERE OR WE�LL FIRE!�

They were trained to handle this thing, and living on such a starbase got one use to having maniacs try strange things, but they weren�t ready for Oni. In a swift, seemingly impossible motion, Oni ran up along the sides of the wall. In the same instance, he ignited his light saber; the eerie light filled the room and created sharp slanting shadows of the guards. In a flowing arch, the saber cut off the fronts of the guns. While still in the air, Oni performed a roundhouse kick, knocking each guard in the back of the head. Each fell to the ground with a thud. Oni landed softly on his feet and sprinted into the main part of the Command Center. Sirens began to wail as a nearby guard, who saw the intrusion, hit the alarm. Oni felt a shot coming from his right; with an unnatural reflex Oni blocked the incoming laser with his sword. It deflected off harmlessly into the wall. Howitzer stood up from his chair and looked directly into Oni�s eyes. Oni hesitated for a mere moment; he could feel the Captain�s disappointment in him. He could also feel something else, something that was the captain�but wasn�t. Hate welled up inside Oni, the feelings of disappointment he felt from Howitzer merely made him more determined to press on. The darkness grew. Howitzer�s gaze followed Oni as he raced across the room, slashing guards and blocking shots. Oni showed some restraint, as many of his attacks were at the guards� weapons, and not at their persons. Others, who he had personally known because of their harassment of him, got their limbs taken off.

Oni reached the door he needed to. Extending himself, Oni knocked over another group of oncoming guards. The door opened and Oni ran in.
