Subject: cynical voice on the big screen

Anyone remember the ZOO TV tour?? I would like to find out who the old man is that appears on the big screen and says all those cynical things. I once saw a cd by that old man with all lyrical things on it in the same way he did on the big screen.
Can't remembe exactly what he all said. Somthing about thanking for the indians and all the bad things that ever happened.
Anyone got an idea who this was and where I can find these lyric fragments.
