Subject: Lyrics of new songs

I think Beautiful Day is a great song, with decent lyrics, but the rest of the lyrics judging from the song clips, are conventional and boring. Definitely not Bono's finest work. Also, where the hell did the old sound of Edge's guitar work go? I liked the classis trademark digital delay effects on the guitar from Streets, Ultraviolet, Pride, U. Fire, etc.
