the deiation is easy really if you sit down and think about it, took me a while to get my head around it to start with but if you can work out the mean deviation (add every number then divide by amount of numbers) all you need to add to your code to calculate the standard deviation is 2 more variables, one to calculate the square of every number as they are typed and one that will total all the squared numbers together. I found it helped if i added a list box to keep track of the numbers as they were added and a list box to keep track of the numbers as they were squared. this way i had a visual aid and could see what was happening, and from there the maths involved is pretty simple.
