.x. his eyes glint with something fierce as he whispers to sheilah, almost fiercely. .x.

"Oh, there are a great many people who do. And there are a he// of a lot of people who die who deserve life. S'not fair. 'Course, nothin' ever is."

.x. he looks at the now orphaned girl, face void of emotion. .x.

"Leave her. Houdain would be happy to take care of his little princess."

.x. suddenly, he turns his attention to the girl. .x.

"See, Anclair, look what a lucky position you've got yourself in. Bite everybody and you've got no friends left."

.x. an sly, almost grin slipped across her face. she was alone; he nasty father had died, and she'd scared everyone away, except the servent who'd she'd treated like dirt only moments before. hearing the gurggle he glances towards the window quickly, before facing the girl again, whilst he sent magic to probe the roof. perhaps that was the problem with street people; they spent so much time around killers that death wasn't a shock for 'em. anyhow, it wasn't so much evil, or vengence-though that played a part-that drove Briar to do the things he did, but ignorance. surely, not the ignorance that drove a royal, but that he was street to the core. and it was how he was raised. not to mention he'd never met an exception before Lily and her family. .x.

[occ-lol, i got speechy/physciotristy again. whoops.]
