A quick look is given to the inkeeper, beore he snorts decisively. "I meant to discuss it with Father Malone," he says, explaining. "I was meaning to contact the appropriate means."

Slowly, he gentle gaze is drawn to the girl and the former 'slave'. Had been the kind of man to smile, he would have done so. But then, barely being a man in human standards, he dd not do so. Instead, he tightens his folded wings acorss his back, and nods. "The cold weather is particualrily bitter here. That is why I am panning on constructing some spare houses for the winter season. Smong our own," he says, with a glance towards Aurora. Only when he saw her did the compassion spark in the depths of his eyes. But the dull eyes are returned to the royal visitors. "You will be welcome to stay in one of the extras, unless you plan to continue journeying."

His throat contracts slightly, as he turns to Aurora. A short chuckle escapes him. "I meant it to be a surprise, but I suppose this time fits any. Tomorrow, I'll take you to our new home. I'll explain everything then. As for Kalub...he went to Geisill for 'a reason I am not to relay to anyone under any circumstances.'" He grunts, a little amusingly. "I take it he has developed your vocabulary."
