Subject: "Why DOES everyone come to this bar first?"
In reply to: Tahu 's message, ""What business have we HERE?"" on 23:56:46 08/19/01 Sun

Tahu scowled.

"We've learned nothing, angered the bartender, and only gotten terse replies we might as well have given ourselves! AND we don't drink...or can't in these forms! Perhaps I was so eager to indulge once more in the tangible delights....

This bartender knows nothing....I can see it in his optics. Settle that temper Tahu and let's find a booth and observe....surely Gali and the others will understand if we enjoy the party, maybe learn something?"

Reluctantly, his fellow Toa following him as the bar's automated repair system repaired the damaged rail, Tankup muttering clichés all the while. Once they were in the booth, Lewa spoke again.

"I'd love a good brawl--but I don't know if that will lead us anywhere and this must be a military installation. By the arsenal we saw when we arrived, I'd say for certain these are conquerors, whatever their appearance whilst inebriated. We'd do well not to cross them; that's a safe conclusion.

We'll have to try some subtlety...something neither of us are used to. And I think I'm 100% sure how we can do it..."

Tahu's plastic face contorted; Lewa was always so positive, and often wrong. but once he was committed to an idea, it was hard to sway him. As the fiery Toa listened, his dislike for the idea grew. At this rate, they'd never find what they were looking for. But, for now, he managed to keep his temper in check...
