"No desk clerk on duty? Where is that kid?

Rotor walked around to the other side of the desk now and checked the panel of blinking lights that indicated the status of the cells. After his conversation in the Holo-rooms with PHOTRON, the next logical step for he and Rampage would be to locate a recent arrival by the name of Samuel.

"There he is...in solitary awaiting interrogation--but no one's talked to this guy yet, not even taken a statement?" As the Autobot used his security access on Walter Patterson's desk console, the status of Samuel was baffling. Some dire emergency may have precluded the normal proceedings. Or, more rationally, the facility was probably still suffering from being understaffed. With Rotor and some of his officers attending Dinotron's trial, the Warden still recovering in the medlabs as well as Knutz & Zephyr, it was definitely the more likely conclusion. There did seem to be a lot of extra soldiers patrolling the station though; Rotor's keen perception had last noted this in the Holo-rooms.

"Something's up....I can feel it in the air. I don't know what exactly, but it may mean me an' the crab can continue this investigation without muddling through red tape. Time to talk to this Samuel."

And Rotor stepped away from the console to meet Rampage and head for Samuel's cell. The Security Officer would surely have taken Joskur's escape seriously had the desk clerk had a chance to enter the incident into his log...
