Arem eyed the ring of chalk. It was still...then again, chalk never moved much. As she shuddered on the cold metal, she noticed the dust beginning to stir. The chalk flitted about, keeping the circle's shape. Arem gazed at the shaking chalk in curiosity; the powder seemed to be jumping. It rose higher, higher, and higher until....
The dust shot up in a blazing white pillar. As the chalk settled, Arem noticed a jackal-esque creature clutching a glaive tightly. Anubis peered into his new setting. He attempted stepping forward, but slammed into an invisible wall. A snarl erupted from his mouth.
