Mr. Rodgers died today of stomach cancer. It was a shock to everyone who had ever felt close to him, watched his show, or just had any coneection with this wonderful man. I personaly was touched by his greatness. On one of his shows, he was playing the clarinet. I liked it so much, I wanted to start. I was really little, and therefor could not hold a clarinet and had to start with recorder. Soon after I started, my teacher moved away. I wanted to keep playing a wind instument, so I started flute. I have been playing for 7 years now and it has greatly affected/changed my life. All because of Mr. Rodgers. He taught us to tie our shoes; to put on a sweater; and to be a good neighboor. So please, just think for one itty bitty second about had sad and tragic this day is.

Clothes- His clothes changed (i had a better idea), but just for the Lord of the Rings Journy. He's wearing a more "fighting styled" vest, that's currently laced shut. He's also got on loose britches and supple boots.
The Ring- Erm, wondering...could I intoduce the One Ring by having it with him? Just in the begining...Everyone can have a chance to be corrupted, don't worry! Hehe...yeeaaah.

??? Er...he's getting a name change. Again. Third time. Oh well. Anyways, his new name is Shaft. And don't even ask.
Appearence-Hehe, also, he no longer looks like a Ring Wraith Horse. He's just a normal black, slightl arabian looking stallion. Well, not "normal" but anyways.

Right. The ball is sort of over, though I guess the royal family and Alorwyn'll be hanging around for a while more...remember, I won't be here tomorrow or most of Sunday. I'm going to Ottawa, and then to work on Sunday. A real drag.
Anyway, our little plan will be put into motion almost immediately. (not too soon...Ottawa...work....sigh)
We'll settle everything with Gante/Arin at the King's Chambers first, ok? Gante'll probably fly off to find Adraine...and that's where Sakr is likely to come in. Not necessarily...it's up to his player, whom I have not gotten the OOC name of...yet. The gist of it is -- I think -- Sakr is Leon's older brother, whom his parents thought were dead at birth (explain later, of course...) and Gante/Arin, the dragon, stole him and raised him...only to have him run away when he was older ((NOTE: I'm just brainstorming a rough idea of the story...if anyone else wants to add or moit something, feel free to jump in!))
Whew. Anyways, this is it...I will be around, er, around Monday. Or early/late Sunday...it depends on when i work then. Stupid schedule...I can't believe I washed it! Does anyone know how to read mushed-up, smeary-inked pieces of paper???

I don't think Sakr wants it anyway. Um, Adraine and Gante...lessee, i think that's a good idea. 'Cause Gante is and elf that was 'supposedly' exiled. He made the dragons angry, so they crused him with a dragon form and they gave him a little piece of ugly land called Vaghanak (hehehehehehehehe) which he quickly made into a glorious dragon-kingdom....well, the rest I'll post in a new History board. Anyway, he's back, and he's very bitter about Adraine because she helped take Vaghanak (Kavanagh) away from him. Whew. Sound good? Just a bit of brainstorming. Ah...the toil of broken lovers.

Ok, the thing about this Ball is, that everyone needs to be here at the same time. There are only two ways to do that. Unfortunately, however, one way is for me to find out everyone's time zones (actaully, I know Sonya's...) so I can plan it. I've actually run a ball before, in one of my numerous, numerous other RPG's I've run...lol, so I'm afraid this is the only way we can do it. If everyone just shows up and posts normally, it would be VERY boring, and we'd end up with a message board with two posts and a coupla subposts.
ANYWAY, this means that we need to plan veeeery carefully.
The other way is to set the Ball for ONE DATE only, and not let it go past that one day. If we do that, and all try to be on as often as we can (kinda like the Superbowl...wait, that scratches out Sunday...) then we'll probably have a few players RPing at once. If we do it this way, then we'll have to agree on a single date that's good for us all. On a weekend, of course, because I don't think everyone has the week off like me.
Also, if you want to meet someone at the ball at a certain, you'll have to plan it yourself witht that player...sorry, so much to do for me!
Any more ideas? I can't start the entire thing myself! My asking date is February 1st, next Saturday. I have to work on Sunday the next day, so that's out for me....O_o

Ok y'all I thought up Leon's full name, but don't laugh, and please don't repeat it on any other site b/c this is the name of one of the main charecters in the book I'm writing. His full name is: Leonius Emrys. Leon is latin for lion(y'all probably knew that one), I just added the 'ius' on the end for flare. Then Emrys is the welsh word for: Child of Light. Which I thought was very appropriate for him. I just thought I should think up a full name for him since Sadie had one: Sadie Rose, and also in case at formal occasions, calling someone 'Leon' would seem too short. Since Leon is his nickname.
Also about the Ball, I think that you should post that the drunken Oscar(lol) should put up a poster talking about the Ball and stuff, you can put down a "pretend" date, then after the poster is up, people can start showing up at the Castle like after the King or Queen's made a post about the ball, or something like that. I've never held a "Ball" in all of my years of owning a website, so I couldn't tell ya how to go about that. But I hope that I'm not overwhelming you with my suggestions or anything, I know how difficult it is to be the owner of a site(and how more difficult it is when your co-owner takes over, curse her, I'll get her back one of these days. Then when you try to create a new site, being the stupid blonde that you are in always keeping the same password for everything, she comes back to haunt you by stealing that site, then AFTERWARDS she asks if it was ok. *Yells in anger* Sorry, I'm ok, just got a little carried away there, ignore me when I get like this:))

Ok Laura, I'm sure you're REALLY getting tired of me about right now(can't help it I just love you guys. lol), but I've got some ideas for the Winter Ball too. Ok, in some books I've read over medieval stuff, the "crown princes" got crowned as the "crown prince" at a certain age, just to announce(or show off) that they were the first born and stuff. But since Leon is the only boy, I just thought that maybe he could get crowned "crown prince" anyway, since it's his fifteenth b-day and all. Nothing big, just an annnouncement to celebrate his b-day and maybe a golden circlelet. I probably spelt that wrong. You don't have to agree with this idea, just a suggestion. And I won't be mad if you think it's stupid or that Leon's been taking all the spotlight lately. Oh some suggestions to Cherry Drop on finding a pic for Sadie. Look under searches for: medievil pics, medieval pics, princesses, princess pics, pics of princesses, and medievil royal pics. Just some search suggestions. Also, check webshots!!!!!

Ok quite a few things.
1. I fixed The Old Forest now called The Forest of Narna, for all of those interested, check it out! I'll have the Lake of Mirrors up soon and stuff.
2. I think the Winter Ball is a great idea, lots of fun. Although, I think it would be too cold to have outside, I think it should be in the Castle, but open to everyone, even the lowliest peasant.(Leon part of me talking again:))
3. This has nothing to do with anything, but I got a dark brown guinea pig for X-mas, and just the other day, we reliezed that she was pregnant!!!!!!YAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to be a Granny!!!!!!
4. I forgot to mention, I also SOMETIMES play two horses. Most of the time I just post them in with Adraine, but just so you'd know.
