I have seen no conclusive evidence this guy has been hired. The first of these messages indicating such was on <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.voy.com/16069/">the SNLMB</a> and contained a link to <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://secondcity.com/news.php?id=93">here</a> as "proof". Of course, that article never mentions SNL at all, just that Topher Owen auditioned for and received a slot on the SC Detroit Mainstage. Googling him produces little more than a varied assortment of reviews of his past productions. Add to this the fact that it is still July, a bit early for a show known for last minute decisions.

Now, I have nothing against the guy. He could very well have been hired (in fact, due to his size it might indicate a much needed excommunication of Horatio). But I honestly believe we're jumping the gun - like when Slovin and Allen were reportedly becoming cast members. If you have actual confirmation post it. If it's a link to TVTome, then I reserve the right to hit you in your face and punch you in your glasses.
