But I don't know much about Hicks material. Didn't Denis Leary steal from him? Denis Leary is kind of overrated. I like the whole asshole persona but much of his stand-up is kind of flat.

I know that the 2 top selling comedians currently are extremely overrated... Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia! Yeah apparently Mencia's punisher tour is extremely high grossing. People just eat up his unfunny regurgitated stereotypes. There's no depth, it's all just hacky and one dimensional. Then it turns out that he's stolen material from Bill Cosby and Sam Kinison. Man I'd say Chappelle is above and beyond Mencia.

But other than that. I can't really think of anyone else. Maybe Howie Mandel, but I don't think he was that famous to begin with!
