If it's all part of the bit then it's fine. But do you really feel that SNL is at its worst right now? I see it right now as a transitional phase that could get a lot better. I like the short cast that we have and it allows for a lot of different and wild ideas. Regardless of whether the sketches are all winners they are still different than the material from 04-05! SNL is taking chances and I'd like to see more of it. Sure there is some deadweight, Kenan and Maya mostly. Sure it has very weak characters at times but it manages to garner some ideas and concepts that haven't been done awhile. They may still have recurring characters that are shoddy but they are not shoved down our throat as much as in 04-05 and 03-04! Believe me Bronx Beat could have been done 4 or 5 times! Anyways I'm sick of fans on other boards going... OHH THIS SHOW SUCKS FIRE THE WHOLE FREAKING CAST! They're trying to gain the same Vile From New York criticism that SNL had in early 90's. SNL is always changing and going through up and down phases. But anyways I'd love to hear your thoughts on the real show.
