Oedipus is a greek tragic hero, so you want to have someone who embodies the classic greek male figure. You want to get at close to the eric bana/brad pitt figures in Troy to best replicate what Oedipus would have looked like. Forte would have to be further down the list beause he's not so solid...a little squishy.
