Hello all, this here is my weekly
Alright, although I don't fully understand EVA RPG styles myself I have found out how to RPG in both ways. T2 is very simple. There's two points to T2 ya need. The first is ast typing speed, and the second is a simple amount of minimum words.
Now, to attack ya type 10 words or more, then ya gotta type antoher 10 after that to make contact, but it has to be two seperate messages. IE: ~jumps with accurate power slicing forward through the air with his sword~. Then, ya hit 'enter' to send it. Then they have to type a message 7 characters long or more to dodge before your mesage is sent. IE: If they type ~jumps backwards dodging the attack as best he can~ and they hit enter before you finish typing, they dodge. Or if they counter with 7 characters IE: ~catches the sword and kicks the person in the stomache sendign them flying~ they do damage back, bu tif you make contact before they counterattack then it coms into play.
Put simply;
7 block/dodge, 10 attack and then connect, 7 counter-attack
that's T2 fighting.
Now for EVA
Proper Fighting Syntax
Attacking an Opponet;
Attacking an Opponet is quite easy. You must (State your Attack/Say what your Weapon name is) much like in T2. Attacking has two parts, an Attempt & Connection. All Actions in Eva use 1 Bracket not two,
Attacking uses a > to Attack. Hears an example.
> Waves my sword around at my opponet.
> It rips across my opponets chest now.
You see, simple and fast like T2. One thing to remember is that each fighter gets 7 Hp, and 10 Mp. Hp as your know means Hit Points. A Hit Point is lost each time an opponet hits you. Mp means Magic Power. This is used for Magic, thus Magic can only be used a limit of 10 times. (Attacks are 5 or more words.)
Linking an Attack;
To Link an Attack is much like Prep Lines in T2. They are used to increase Attack length only. It will force your opponet to use a Remark Statement, I will discuss a Remark Statements later. Linking an Attack uses opposite Brackets, hears an example.
< My sword proceeds at his head, sweat drips off of my arms as it whithers through the air. You can note fillers aren't aloud, the above statement wasn't a filler thow. It exclaimed your stress in the Linking Attack line. A example of a filler would be "and such." (Linking is 5 or more words.)
Using & Linking Magic;
Using Magic is the same as Attacking. You use a >> instead of a > thow. Linking Magic is also the same as an Attacks Link, again using a << instead of a <. Your basically doubling up on Brackets. (Magic & Magic Linking is 7 or more words.)
Evasion;
Evading is simple. After your opponet Attacks you type a Remark Statement that verify's Evading the specified Attack, hears an example.
<! Slips to the side of the sword
Remark Statements;
A Remark Statment is used to specify an Action that is not an Attack. Drawing a sword or Transforming into a beast isn't Attacking so you will have to use a Remark Statement. The Bracket for a Remark Statment is a
<!. Hears an example of a Remark Statement.
<! Whipes sweat from my forehead with my sleeve.
Remark Statements are also used to show damage done to yourself when your opponet hits you with a Linked Attack. (Remark Statements are 4 or more words.)
Combos;
Combos are preformed by using Attack Links as regular Attacks You can learn it easily by the example bellow.
> Thrusts my sword at my opponet now
< it tears across his/her chest now drawing blood
< jerks my hand upwords now with the sword planted in them
> it tears out massive amount of flesh from him/her
Combos can last as long as you want. It will force your opponet to use a Remark Statement, & if your fast enough they'll never get a chance to fight back.
Battles
Endurance Fights;
Endurance Fights are Battles of 1 versus 2 other people. You get an Hp Limit in this type of Eva Battle. Each fighter will get 7 Hp. The way this works is each Attack that hits causes you to lose 1 Hp. If the side w/ only 1 fighter beats the first person he fights the second w/ his amount of Hp left.
That's EVA fighting style. Now, I will have more info for ya next week. Or mabye sooner.
