Why am I posting this here? I'm not quite certain...but I figure if it's someone fooling around and not really the person that's been harassing myself and family...that they will see that this sort of thing is NOT funny and CAN have consequences that they never dreamed of, lol. Let me also be clear that I do NOT think this is from ANY of our posters/family here! Tho, maybe from someone that does read here....one never knows.

I received the card below anonymously. HOWEVER....I am in the midst of a police investigation with the Akron, Ohio prosecutor's office.......head prosecutor, Mr. *** *****. Where a card like this might be sent to the average person as a joke.....I find nothing funny about it as my entire family is being harassed in "real" life at the moment........well, the past TWO YEARS! I live alone with my 6 year old daughter and am scared to even let my child outdoors to play. The harassment is occurring on-line as well as the telephone, at this point. My question is this.......IF someone from law enforcement would contact you.....would you cooperate and give them the person's ip# that sent this to me? I am very big on free speech on the Internet.....I have a busy message board of my own as well as President of a nonprofit organization for the Hepatitis C Virus and run that web site and message board as well. HOWEVER.....when "free speech" entails abusing one's ENTIRE family (he also harasses my parents who are senior citizens and my father has Alzheimer's....sigh).....that's where I draw the line.

At this point you should know that I heard back from them almost immediately and they will be happy to give the info requested to the police. You see...this is not some game...this is MY LIFE...and I am sick of this! There are many people that I don't particularly care for...but I would never ever wish ANY of them bodily harm, yanno? I don't think people expect anyone to actually call the police over stuff like this. It's nice to know that I wasn't the only one that found this so darn creepy! I don't creep out easily...but this made the hairs on my arms stand straight up!

This has been an ongoing thing off and on for about 2 years now...but really bad for the past 8 months or so. I don't usually like to bring this sort of thing here....but I was really feeling like I wanted to share and get a hug or two when I got that sick thang.
