Re: Go To Your Room Immediately -- sg, 15:51:26 05/12/02 Sun (Toronto-HSE-ppp3662173.sympatico.ca/65.95.151.38)
Hi Susie,
I've been checking in on the board on a regular basis but didn't have anything to add so I've been silent. I see a lot of people getting good information and could only say RIGHT ON.
I've been doing good. Nothing negative is happening. Its getting easier to move around. Its still a little sore/stiff if I move in the wrong way, but thats just the healing. I'm on the treadmill daily (most days) but not at a fast pace and only for about 25 minutes at a stretch but it will improve. I'm going out more (mall, restaurants, visiting, etc.) but nothing extensive. I now sleep through the night (reduced steroids did the trick, I think).
I read an article on a presentation at the American Transplant Congress on CellCept studies being reported which deal with liver transplant patients with HCV prior to transplant. There seems to be some positive results in reducing the re-occurances of the HCV. And guess what, just by fluke (because I wasn't on the study) I just happen to be getting the same combination of drugs in the reported doses. I think my Docs slipped this one in on me and I ain't complaining. Nor am I getting my hopes up but I did/do take note of the study. We'll see what happens.
sg
