Subject: Re: A Telling Tale.

I for one am of the opionion that you need not tell your X anything. If he was an IV drug user [as I was for almost thirty years] then it goes like this '' You pays your money and youse takes your chances". Many of us are quite fortuate to have only contracted Hep C, and not the dreaded HIV.

Considering the fact that he is also violent, it would not be prudent nor in your best interests for you to divulge this type of information. Perhaps you contracted it from him, and then it would certatinly be a moot point.

This is merely my opionion, and I see no reason to jeopardize your current health condition at this point. We all are confronted with the consequences of our behaviors whether past or prsent, bad or good. I feel that the consequences of your candor to your ex would not only hurt you, but would be of no benefit to him or his current family either.

After all it is his responsibility to be cognizant of his own health needs, and given his history it should in all likelyhood be something that I would think he should find out for himself.

Now on a lighter note

HERE IS WISHING ALL OF YOU A MOST WONDROUS AND JOYFUL MOTHER'S DAY.

ALL OF YOU THAT ARE MOTHER'S THAT IS.

PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL OF YOUR DAYS.

GOD BLESS

AGAPE:

WILLIAM

I agree with William!
If your ex ever goes to the doctor and states that he was an IV drug user. Im sure the doc will recommend blood work that will disclose if he has an elevated enzyme level anyway. Also, chances are that he may already know and didn't tell you or his new ex wife.
Morally, I feel bad suggesting that you withhold the info, but you must think of your safety first and foremost.
Good Luck, We are here for you if you need us.

My doctor told me not to tell my ex for the reasons William gave, not only was he EXTREMELY abusive, physically, verbally, financially and spiritually most of all there is no way for me to contact him anyway.
