Subject: the lord must have a twisted sense of humor...and wants to see me walk...

The lord (whomever he/she may be) has a warped sense of humor. I have three vehicles. A 3/4 ton pickup - hauls large loads, workhorse....a 4x4 blazer - hauls smaller loads and gets me through big snow and muddy job sites...and a cutlass ciera - great for running about. Now, these are all early 90's vintage, well kept, don't look too bad and do the job for me. Anything newer I'd trash doing construction anyway. Day before yesterday the throttle body injector unit (kinda like a carberator, gas related) goes out on my big truck. I put it on order, I'll have it in in a couple days....no big. Drive the blazer, right? Yesterday, I take the blazer to the lumber yard to pick up a few things....fuel pump goes out of it. My brother comes and gets me (thank that silly lord for cell phones) and we come home. We'll go fix it in the morning...no big. Two vehicles down, but hey!...still have the good ol cutlass to drive, right? I had let the newly licensed 16 year old of the house take the cutlass to school yesterday. 'Bout 4:30 he rolls in, I'm thinkin' "finally, I can still get to the parts store, etc." ...nope. He hit a deer on the way home. Still drivable, but front end totally wasted, passenger-side door and all. Hoooowwwww fuuunnnyy is THAT!!! hahhahaha....
That goood ol' lord...what a sense of humor!! I feel like I've won some twisted lottery! What are the odds??? .....lol.....have a good evening! I'm off to the parts store in the morning, (um, if I can borrow my bro's truck...) and are they gonna be happy to seeeee me. <<<< well?? whattaya gonna do??? cry about it!?? not >>>>

It wasn't a pretty sight, but thank (the aforementioned) lord, the deer got up and ran off to "perish". And my car was driveable, but (*sigh*) never looked the same again! Good luck.... sounds like 'The Automotive Gods are VeryVery Angry with You!!' (old Frank & Ernest cartoon -- the mechanic's estimate/diagnosis) --sus
