:slender limbs move calmly and rigidly toward the mare, the almost-healed wound upon his chest cracking painfuly with each movement of the muscle it had penetrated...oculi swim with pain and sadness...the herd was in a uneasy and vulnerable state.....but perhaps the recently accepted horses, DarkVictory and Shetan would turn things around....a second wuffle of affection is heard from the depths of the dark steed's wounded chest, gaze faltering from DOTR to GS....:
