Adanac looked up. Cyediir actually cared on his happiness. I'm glad I didn't go back... The wolves in mom's pack don't even know true happiness... He looked down now and whimpered.. He'd left behind his sister, the one he'd sworn his life on to protect. But she was smart, she would escape, right? He turned around and walked over to Cyediir and licked her muzzle, whimpering a bit, the laid down at her side, stretching out and letting his nose touch her neck and his front paw extend to almost touch hers. He looked up at her with gentle eyes, then nuzzled his ehad into her soft her and slowly drifted off to sleep...

((OOC: Adanac's a character I RP at Swift Wolves, and I'm using his sister's name from there cuase it just sounds right heheh))

The earth was soft and the grass was green. The trees had just grown all of their leaves back and the pups weren't confines to the den. Adanac was the first to step out, taking a deep breath, filling his nose and memory with the sweet scent of lilac and other flowers. The adutls were off and his mother was watching the pups, laying down lazily on a rock aboce the den. Adanac yipped and began barknig, telling the other pups to join him outside. None were totally related to him except one. His sister, Semplice. She walked over to her brother happily, the others soon followed her. They were overwhelmed by the sweet scent of spring. So much was taking place before their eyes. But the thought of being caught by Black, the alpha male and to them, the meanest wolf ever was scary. Black received his name because his heart was black, it seemed as if it had no ability to love, only to lead and pretty much scare or attack anyone who thought he was wrong... Black hated Adanac and Semplice because their mother was the one Black wanted for his mate. But their mother had been with another for a long time,t he joined the pack together and were happy. Black was always on his best behavious around ehr, but once she was gone, the pups were frightened..
The pups slowly followed Adanac further out infront of the den where the grass with soft. Adanac pounced at his best friend, Kihaku (Which means "Spirit" or "Soul" in Japanese). They restled, growling at one another playfully. Semplice watched her brother pin Kihaku. Adanac was definately the lead pup and all the pups looke up to him. He was the bravest and the only one who dared voice his opinion to Black or to stand up for the rest of them...

But Adanac and the other pups' joyful adventure soon came to an end. Adanac's mother had gone off after hearing a howl from her mate. Black slowly crept in the bushed about two feet from where Adanac held down Kihaku, acting all mighty. There was no one there to watch the pups, or to stop him. Black leapt at Adanac, easily snatching him up in his jaws, hsi teeth piercing the soft underbelly and some of his back and flanks. Adanac yipped in pain. Black shook his head angrily. Trying to teach Adanac a lesson that only Black said when they could go outside and when the could, he would tell them where to go. Black finaly released his grip on Adanac, tossing him to one side. He barked at the pups to enter the den, he snapped at Semplice, then bit her back as she was the youngest and shyest. Adanac quickly rose and snarled at Black. Black ran at him, the barked and chased Adanac away. Adanac had blood on his sides and underbelly. Black's teeth had pierced his body severely. Adanac got away as fast as he could, Black chased him until not even Adanac could fins his way hime. Adanac had no where to go.. he soon found Shadows of the Moon, and by the his wounds had become scars, but still visable when he exposed his belly. And as he grew bigger the scars grew farther from one another, but still formed the shape of a wolf's mouth...

((EEH! long flashback!))

Adanac's hind legs were warm under Cyediir's tail. His belly was exposed.. And the scars seemed more viable now...
