Allah the exalted says: " and be not of those POLYTHEISTS who have SPLIT UP THEIR DEEN (ISLAM) and became SECTS, each exulting in whatever they have "[Soorah Rum (30): Ayah 31-33]

Allah the exalted says: " as for those who SPLIT THEIR DEEN(ISLAM) and BECAME SECTS, you (PROPHET ! ) have nothing to do with them, their case will go to ALLAH, who then shall tell them what they use to do ".[ Soorah An'aam: Ayah 159 ]

Allah the exalted says:" and be not as those who disputed and remained SECTS even after the clear proofs had come on to them. For such there is an awful doom when some people will have happiness on their faces and some people will have gloomy faces,those who have the gloomy faces (they will be told) even after having the blessing of faith you did kufr (atheism)�"
[Soorah Aal-I-Imran: Ayah 105]

Allah the exalted says:" I can send my torment from the sky or from beneath your feet or divide you into SECTS, and make you taste the fight amongst yourself..." [Soorah An'aam: Ayah 65]

Sectarism is shirk and kufr etc ......why do we participate in it.
