Ink black oculars take note of the new, the first, the femme. Cresant lobes flick forth as the gaze skims over the golden form, lips quirck absentmindedly for thoughts all his own.

Slowly, brute moves from cover of shadow, slow measured strides bring him withing yards of the golden. For size so big, narey a sound was produced by the onyx nails.

Soft, yet powerful sound emits from the black's jowels. Waiting for the femme to turn, broad skull is dipped in acknowledgement, and welcome.

Now is not the time for the claiming of mares. The future is uncertain, and it is not his place to seek such, although desire for a herd of his own runs strong.

With a final glance at the golden form, he turns, headed back into the shadows, to await the next arrival, or to return to his land, even the brute had not yet decided.
