There would be no reason to think that the problem lay in the computer as the indicators are not computer controlled. If the faults were not connected, the most likely source of the problem might lie in the wiring policy that PSA have adopted for years - very thin core wiring to save copper. French cars have a bad reputation for wiring faults because of the economies made to the loom designs. If you have a wiring fault with one circuit, the indicator lights, and it impinges on the other, the brake fluid level float sensor, you may find that the fault lies at the point of convergence between the two circuits ie an intermittent short between wires or between adjacent circuit components such as fuse connections. Of course there may be no connection, either literal or metaphorical, between the faults at all.
