Subject: Shock Absorbers

I am about to change the shock absorbers after 45000 km to our V6. The idea is not to put in new springs, but to have a good firmer than before ride with proper dampers.

What would you recommend to have a more sporty and tougher feeling than with the original ones? Is the only real option to buy both tougher springs and then excellent shock absorbers. Will a good set of dampers do?

I doubt the value added of lowering the body, but what are my options and how much would it cost. I guess Eibach has one set. Any other ones you would know?
