I own a Bros 400 and usually get 80 mph + out of it.
My friend owns a honda CB 350 S and gets something like 95 mph out of it.
Both are supposed to be 33 bhp and the CB 350 S has a certificate from a test that measures 33 bhp at the rear wheel.
He does have a Motad exhaust on his, which I think improves the power somewhat. I just have the standard Bros one.
Am I being thick, do I just need to clean my air filter!? Plugs are fine. I am clueless and have spent the last year and a half knackering a CG 125.
I'm in England and am stuck with the annoying 33 bhp rule because I'm under 21. And yes, I'm very pissed when my friend leaves me behind!
Sites say different things. I'd like to know what people reach on their Bros. I'm 13 stone so not light! But I've been on my friend's bike and it is faster.
My Bros definately likes a good warm up. Mainly because the gears feel like I'm driving a bus until they do, but after that they're great.
My Bros is from 1988, and was on 30 k when I bought it, now its on 38 K. I'd say the engine is fine.
One thing I can say about my Bros is that it handles way better than the CB 350 S.
Is the Honda Bros 400 ( RC31 ) 33 bhp ?
