PHOTRON paused as he added the last part in a hushed whisper. Alone now in the holoroom, he began to ponder aloud, as was his way.

"A most odd comment to add...the officer was brusque but not out-of-line with his questioning....and my system was purged of that unfortunate case of cyber-tourette's month's ago...why would I add that? Perhaps another diagnostic is in order, but now's certainly not the time. While I was caught up answering questions my automated back-up personas could easily have fielded, I completely and unequivocably abandoned the curvacious Com to the tender mercies of some unknown arrival! Certainly besting the maniacal monkey's lethal legacy is an account for my holobanks and the visitor may have been friendly, but--oh my circuits and diodes! No!

For once, I was more than a glorified museum attendant--I was a part of history! And yet...if anyone knew I had transmitted my program unauthorized and, more importantly, uninitiated, they could take me offline! The greatest battle of my EXISTENCE, me versus the entire UB2K,(sort of) and no one can ever know! I'd feel ill if I had a body...

Even if she isn't in danger, or if she is but she and the others can handle it, I still have to go back. In all the excitement, I never got to tell her why I risked the transmission in the first place. I need to tell her how I feel, to find out if she feels the same. If I don't, I'll always wonder, and that fate would be invariably worse than any potential mockery or rejection.

I'm coming back to you Com....For better or ill, I'm coming back..."

In an instant, the projection faded as PHOTRON's persona was once more speeding from his holo-buffers to those on COM...
