The good news is, I have a nice break extending from Christmas eve until the day after New Years, and I plan to spend it writing.

The not so great news is most of that writing will be spent on my original fic for publication, and on Storming Heaven, which I really want to complete so I can concentrate on Journey.

The somewhat better news is that I am committed to telling a very long story in "The Silken Cage" and there will be plenty more of "Journey" and succeeding chapters to read.

Eventually.

Sorry I can't give a solid date. Hope that when I do post, the fic will have been worth the wait.

I absolutely adore all of Margot's work, but Silken Cage is my favorite. I am looking forward to the continuation with great anticipation.

Oh! Great news! I'm glad you're getting a break, and I hope that the time you spend writing is as much fun for you as it will end up being for us!
I tell ya, people give me Barnes & Noble and Borders gift cards (birthday & Christmas) because they know I'm such a reader, but the material I *really* want to read isn't available in stores---yet!

With that in mind, I'd like to inquire about the writing "for publication" that you mentioned. Is it something we can go out and buy? I'd *love* a chance to show some support! My brother says we vote with our dollars, and I would be honored to put a little of my hard earned cash where the praise is coming from!

Happy Holidays! I wish you many great things in the coming year, including great ideas, much free time, supportive friends and family, lots of money, and increased typing speed (or a secretary...)! ;) Take care.
