They have been delayed by professional committments that became more complex than they were supposed to be, and by the continued delays in my husband's surgeries (now resolved) which have, in turn, postponed my own needed surgery. At the moment, things are improving, but they're still overwhelming. My husband is recovering from his second hip surgery, my elderly mother is in the hospital having therapy because, for no physical reason the doctors could find, she lost her ability to walk safely (she was tottering) and also required a second Alzheimer's drug, I have two editorial deadlines hanging over my head for three different works, and I am, in short, overwhelmed. Yes, I'm still writing fanfic, and yes, I still intend to post. But it will be mid to late October before I can even think about getting something ready to put out.
