Not as soon as I, and all of you, would like. But, honestly, I'm working on it. In the past four years, I lost my father-in-law to cancer, nursed my husband through cancer and two hip replacements, moved my mother from independent living to a personal care facility to a nursing home, lost my best friend of 33 years to cancer, ran a strike office for the union I work for, had to put my 17 year old cat to sleep...and have had over half a dozen visits to the ER on my own account, the most recent a few weeks ago when they thought I was about to have a stroke. I've also published four short stories, and was hired to rewrite a novel. Which I ended up rewriting at least three times. But I have been writing fanfic. I've got several novel length B/A works in progress. I am working on Journey and Storming Heaven. They are not being abandoned. But I simply cannot post as I go, the way I used to. Our family has lost almost a whole generation in the past 6 years. My mother (who is a cancer survivor) is 80 years old and we are trying to get her to move back to California, so she is closer to us. I send lots of hugs to you and prayers( to any higher power you choose), for your health and less stress. I am looking forward to your stories. I keep checking to see if you have posted. I just had send you a message to be on your update list, and then I went here & read what you said. I'm so sorry for your losses, & all those troubles you had. Real Life can be a bitch, uh? But I just wanted to say that it's a real tribute to your great writing that people are still there to wait for your updates. It should tell you what a GREAT author you are my dear. I just can't wait to read more of the "Silken Cage Series", so I'll be around to see when you'll update. You really wrote some of my favorite fic, so a big THANKS to you.
