Perhaps the most obvious example of why Mrs. Haag is the devil, or at least a minion thereof, is her namesake.
In the Book of Revelations, when the prophesized hell on earth comes to be, the "transformation" begins with selected old women in towns who are given the power to hyponotize children. They are referred to as "hags". She thinks she can fool us with the extra "a."

And a MATH teacher? Man's strongest link to the devil is through numbers. And we're not just talking Sign of the Beast here, there are complex patterns, pyramids, arrangements and formulas at work here. She's conditioning us to become part of her all-devouring army!
If you look at the positioning of the desks (which she is so insistent upon maintaining) of B-students you'll find an inverted pentagram, 2 points up from her perspective. This is where she gets her powers of confusion, and spite. She milks this gateway to call forward her unholy notes.

The reason she hasn't been discovered, is she is able to put on this 'nice lady teacher' mask that diverts enough attention. The Devil can transform himself into looking like an angel of God. Proof: "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light" (2 Cor 11:14) Of course, Mrs. Haag is no angel, but it gets the job done.

The word DEVIL, in Greek, means "slanderer or false accuser", which ties in nicely to my below encounter with the Beast.

There is so much more to say. Succuba, Incuba, Assyrian theories, Akkadian theories and the loads and loads of Medieval thoughts. Proof is on our side.
